How Frenting works
Create a private listing
Add photos, availability, rules, and pricing. You can frent spaces (like a second home or cabin) or things (like tools or outdoor equipment). Your listing is private by default.
Invite your trusted circle
Invite family, friends, neighbors, or community members to your circle. Listings are only visible to people inside the circle or via private link.
Get paid without awkwardness
Charge fees and accept credit cards through our secure payment portal. Everyone gets confirmation emails and reminders to make it official.
Your trusted circle
Frenting works through trusted circles — small groups of people who know and trust each other.
You might create a circle for:
- Family members
- Neighbors
- Friends
- An apartment building, condo, or HOA
- A school or team
- Coworkers or clients
You can have as many circles as you want. Everything shared inside each circle stays private.
Who Frenting is for
Frenting is built for people who want to rent or share spaces or items with structure and simplicity — without turning their place into a hotel or renting their belongings to strangers.
Owners who want to rent cabins and homes without listing on public rental sites
People tired of spreadsheets, Venmo requests, and endless scheduling texts
Neighbors who want to share tools or equipment responsibly with a paper trail
Friend groups who share outdoor gear or event equipment
What you can share on Frenting
Frenting works for all kinds of spaces and things you'd rather share or rent privately.
If you only want to share with people you already know, Frenting is your solution.
Private by design

Frenting is not a public marketplace.
There's no public search, no maps, and no browsing by strangers.
Listings are only visible inside trusted circles.
Protect your investments — and your relationships with neighbors, friends, and family.
